Russell S. Lamison, Jr., 89, wife of Jeanette (Bauer) Lamison, died Thursday, September 3, 2009 at Sanatoga Center where he had been a patient for three months. Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa, he was the son of the late Margaret (Baxter) and Russell S. Lamison, Sr. Russel and his father ran a roofing business in Pittsburgh for many years. After moving to Spring City, he was employed by Sutton's Drugstore, Jones Motor Company and American Machine and Tool. Russ was a proud veteran of World War II and an avid Steelers, Pirates and Penguins fan. But the most important thing to him was his family. In addition to his wife of 68 years, he is survived by five children, Russell, Peggy (wife of James Waltemyer), Lee (husband of Sandra), Tom (husband of Joy), and Carol; seven grandchildren, Brian (husband of Megan) and Brad (husband of Terri) Lamison, Michael (husband of Beth) and Debra (wife of Michael McCaffrey) Waltemyer and Joshua, Madelyn and Elena Lamison; seven great grandchildren, Emily and Isaiah Lamison, Devin, Curtis and T.J. Waltemyer and Conor and Cole Lamison, and a sister, Eleanor Williamson of Pittsburgh. A celebration of Life service will be held on _______(date)______at _____(time)__________ at _____(place)______________. Family and friends will be received before the service from__________.
