Obituary of Minerva M. Moyer

Minerva M Moyer, 78, of Royersford and Sanatoga, PA, wife of the late Harvey C Moyer, died Tuesday October 11, 2011. She was born in Lancaster County and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mabel (Gantz) Aungst. She was very active with the Pottstown Senior Center where she participated in serving meals and sang in their musical ensembles. Minerva enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren as well as listening to music on her iPod. She is survived by her children, Mary Moyer, Millville NJ; Barbara Moyer with whom she resided; Dorothy, wife of Keith McCready, Northampton, PA; Eddie Moyer, husband of Nancy, Sanatoga PA; Nancy Moyer, Annville, PA and grandchildren, Meagan Moyer-Smith, Joshua Moyer, Jennifer McCready, and Leah McCready. Minerva is also survived by her brother, Artemus (Bud) Aungst, Bonners Ferry, ID. Funeral services will be held at 10AM on Saturday, October 22, 2011, at Shalkop Grace Funeral Home, 135 Bridge St, Spring City. Burial will be in Limerick Garden of Memories. A viewing will be held on Saturday, from 9 to 10 am at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Pottstown Area Senior Center, 724 N. Adams St, Pottstown, PA 19464.
