Obituary of Andrew C. Schmitz

Andrew Charles Schmitz, age 21, of Lansdale died peaceably in his sleep of natural cause on Saturday, December 10, 2011. Andrew was the beloved son of Peter A. Schmitz and Belle (Black) Brenneman He is survived by his sister, Ashley and a nephew, Dominic. He is also survived by a step-brother Alvin Newsome. Andrew had many close friends and was a hard working, compassionate young person. He had a special love for his "nana" and "pops", Frances (Betty) and Karl Schmitz. Andrew was a graduate of North Penn High School and has pursued various academic achievements as an employee of UAB Manufacturing Company in Croyden, PA. He set a high work ethic goal and seemingly achieved his self imposed standard of perfection. A grave side burial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Dekalb Pike, East Norriton. His memorial service will be held Saturday at 11:30 AM at the Sanctuary United Methodist Church, 1346 E. Prospect Ave., North Wales with the Rev. James Carver officiating. A second interment will follow at the Washington Memorial Chapel Church Yard, Rt. 23, Valley Forge. The Shalkop, Grace and Strunk Funeral Home, Spring City is handling the arrangements.
