Anna M. (McCann) Stern, 83, wife of the late of George C , formally of Spring City, died Saturday in the Sanatoga Center. She was born in Phoenixville to the late James F and the late Mildred E (Auman) McCann. She was employed as a Sewing Machine Operator for the former Spring Ford Knit until retirement. She is survived by daughters: Barbara Ann Loose of Pottstown and George Ann Crockett of Exeter. And 1 grandchild: Stacy Crockett and two great grandchildren: Tristyn and Brina. And a brother: James McCann of Florida she is predeceased by sisters: Marie Carfagno and Loretta Donohue and brother: Bernard McCann. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at 11:00 am Thursday in the St Joseph Church, 3460 Old Schuylkill Road, Spring City. With the Reverend Charles O'Hara officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 AM Thursday in church. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery in Phoenixville. The Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
