Reverend Floyd G. Meredith, age 82, husband of Dorothy Carol (Redhair) died Sunday at the Broomall Presbyterian Village, Broomall, PA He was born in West Chester, to the late Samuel Meredith and Helen (Parry) Meredith, and was married for 61 years to his wife, Carol. Reverend Meredith had been a Presbyterian minister for over 35 years, serving from 1965 to 1997, 29 of those years at Leiper Presbyterian Church, Swarthmore, PA. He also served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. In addition to his wife he is survived by three children, Bart Meredith husband of Mary Jane (Farrell) of Maple Grove, MN, Jody Hendricks wife of Edward of Port Providence, PA and Tracy Wells of Riverside, NJ, four grandchildren and one great grandson. He is also survived by a sister Edith Baker. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on June 30th at 1 PM at Paoli Presbyterian Church, 225 Valley Road, with family visitation following the service.
