Obituary of Mildred J Gancasz

Mildred J. "Millie" Gancasz (Birkenbach) wife of the late Joseph J. Gancasz Sr. left this earth on Wednesday evening surrounded by her family at the Season's Hospice in Phoenixville, to be with her God in his garden. Millie was born in Philadelphia a daughter to the late John and Anna (Kessler) Birkenbach. She is survived by her son: Joseph J. Gancasz husband of Alexis of Royersford and two loving grandchildren, Amy wife of Ted Malinowski and Michael husband of Amy Gancasz. Great Grandchildren: Nolan, Riley, Teddy, Brittini and Great grand pups: Magnum, Kaiser, and Lacey. And survived by brother: Edward Birkenbach and sister: Anna Mae Krajewski. Preceded in death by sister: Rae Mudruck and brothers: Harry, Clemenace, David"Skip", John"Jack". Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Millie was an avid viewier of Wheel of Fortune and loved shopping. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday at 1:30pm. At the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets, Spring City, PA. Burial to follow in the limerick Garden of Memories. Her viewing will be held Monday afternoon in the funeral home from 12:30-1: 30pm. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made in her memory to the Season's Hospice 140 Nutt Rd. 5th Floor Phoenixville PA 19460. On line tributes may be made to at www.sgsfuneralhome.com
