Patricia J. (Schaeffer) Griffith, age 70 wife of the late Harold Griffith of Elverson, PA died on Saturday in the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. She was born in Linfiled, PA a daughter to the late Wallace and Eleanor (Musser) Schaeffer. Patricia resided most of her life in Elverson, she was employed for many years as a purchasing agent for the former Clover Lamp Company and also was employed for many years for Macintosh Inns until her retirement. She was an active member f the Bethesda Baptist Church in Elverson where she volunteered with cooking dinners and being the church clerk. She also was formally active with volunteering with fundraising the Norchester Red Knights and former Chairman of the Ways and Means for the Owen J. Roberts Booster Club. And active with the Optimist Club of Norchester. She is survived by two children: Joyce Griffith of Elverson and Joseph Griffith of Birdsboro. And sisters: Ann Heimbach, Nancy Reed, Susann Moyer, Donna Metzger, Sandra Mismer and Betty Walker. And several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral serviced on Saturday at 11:00am at the Bethesda Baptist Church 2140 Harmonyville Road Pottstown PA 19465. Her viewing will be in church Saturday morning from 10am to 11am. Burial will be in the East Nantmeal Cemetery.
