Obituary of Alice Elizabeth Curren

Alice Elizabeth Curren, age 89 of Manatawny manor, east Coventry PA died on Thursday evening in the Pottstown Memorial Medical Center. She was born in Kennett Square, PA a daughter to the late Joseph A. and Esther (Manley) Curren. Alice resided most of her life in the Phoenixville area. She was a member of the Royersford Church of the Nazarene. And volunteered for the Open Door Ministries in Royersford. She was employed for Vishay Technologies for thirty one years until her retirement. Alice is survived by a nephew: David Manley and Niece: Carol Curiale of Kansas. And Cousins: Grace Gale and Charlotte Blain and several more cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Thursday at 11am at the Shalkop & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets Spring City, with the Rev. Paul Thornhill officiating. Burial to follow in the limerick Garden of Memories. Her viewing will be in the funeral home from 10:30 to 11am. In lieu of flowers memorial gif may be made in her memory to the Church of the Nazarene in Royersford 445 Washington Street Royersford PA 19468. On line tributes may be made at www.sgsfuneralhome.com
