Want to extend my condolences to Jan's family and friends on her passing. I just spoke with her about 2-3 weeks ago when I went into Christman's to pick up my husbands necklace which was in for repair. I was shocked to learn of her passing. I loved going into Christman's, whether it was to drop off batteries to recycle or just chat with Jan about what the lastest going ons in Rofo. My son even purchased his fiancé's engagement ring there because he wanted to support the local business. We are really going to miss Jan. May she rest in peace. To Jan's family and all those who knew Jan and love her, I had the wonderful experience of meeting Jan at Spring-Ford Junior High and was a Ramette along side of this incredible woman. She was our final line of defense during both our hockey and lacrosse seasons for a number of years; Jan was our goalie. She played her position as she lived life, with intensity; seeing the big picture from the best spot on the field; and always sacrificing herself for others, for our team. Jan didn't pull punches; she shared what needed to be said to make you a better person. She supported you in the toughest of times and the best of times. You knew if you ever needed help, she was the one who was first to offer a lending hand no matter what was going on in her life. She will be missed deeply by her family, friends, and community. May all of us continue her legacy by being there for those we love and taking time to enjoy the company of those who mean so much to us. We love you Jan.

Words can not express the loss of this wonderful lady, "Aunt Jan". She was an amazing lady to whom we all loved, she was a true character and was all about her family. Jan married my uncle many years ago, and yet we were not to call her "aunt" she always said I am not that old, and that was so true. When we needed something...she was there yesterday. I still am shocked that Jan has left us...So so sad and sorry to have lost our friend "Aunt Jan". Love you.
