Obituary of Joel T. Diehl
Joel Thomas Diehl, age 60 of Perkiomenville, passed away during the early morning hours on Sunday November 10, 2019 at his home.
Joel was born in Phoenixville, a son of Margaret Monaghan and the late Robert James Diehl. He grew up in Pottstown and resided a majority of his life in Montgomery County.
Joel was also a graduate of St. Pius X High School.
He was employed for many years as a Park Ranger with the County. Joel loved music and was an avid musician.
He is survived by his three daughters and five grandchildren. Also survived by his sister, Diane Zagata and brother, Robert Diehl.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 1:30pm at the Good Shepherd Mausoleum at Limerick Garden of Memories with the burial to follow. Visitation will be held in the Mausoleum on Friday from 12:30pm-1:30pm.
As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be sent and made payable to his eldest daughter, Sasha Diehl, to cover any unexpected costs related to their father’s passing. Any unused contributions will be charitably donated to the American Lung Association.
