Obituary of Patricia L. Weiss

Patricia Weiss, 77, Royersford

Patricia Weiss, 77,  passed away Monday April 6, 2020 in the Parkhouse At Providence Pointe.

She was born January 1, 1943 in Phoenixville to the late John Weiss and the late Laura (Hojecki) Weiss.  One of thirteen children. The Weiss family were lifelong members of the community.  Patricia graduated from Phoenixville High School and was a past Dogwood Festival queen.  Traveling to Paris as a young woman to model was a thrill of her life. A woman of faith, Patricia was a member of St. Ann’s Church.  Generous hearted, it was not uncommon to see Patricia giving to others, specifically selflessly caretaking for her mother and sister. Throughout her life, she enjoyed watching movies, television shows and a good old-fashioned Philly Cheesesteak with her Diet Coke.

Patricia leaves behind her adoring children David Weiss (wife, Karen) of Michigan and Monica Horosky of Pottstown; sister:  Marie and two brothers:  Joseph and Charles; six grandchildren:  Heather, Kristina, Alyssa, Paul, Douglas, and Anthony and four great grandchildren:  Annabelle, Dawson, Lela & Gunner.  She was preceded in death by her following brothers and sisters: Kathryn (Kitty) Moore, John J. Weiss (Doc), Loretta Romahn, Dolores Gauger, Anthony Weiss, Richard Weiss, Eugene Weiss, Donald Weiss and Raymond Weiss.

A private graveside prayer service will be held at St. Ann’s Cemetery.
