Obituary of Donna E Francis

Born in Phoenixville, PA, she is the daughter of Donald O. and the late Florence S. Francis. Donna lived most of her life in Phoenixville; she was a lifetime member of St. Matthew's United Church of Christ in Chester Springs where she once taught Sunday school. Donna was a 1973 graduate of Owen J. Roberts High School. She was employed for thirty four and a half years at the Phoenixville Hospital in food service until her retirement. Donna also worked at the former Phoenix Lanes for sixteen years. Donna enjoyed painting ceramics and bowling and she loved traveling and her pets. In addition to her father she is survived by sister Nancy, wife of Kenneth Swart of Elverson and Janice, wife of John Welsh of North Coventry and a brother, William Francis of Spring City. And Nieces: Kristen wife of Mike Pleasanton, Angela wife of Darrel Burns and Jennafer Welsh and grand nieces: Alayne and Sydney Pleasanton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Monday at 11:00am at the St. Matthew's United Church of Christ, 2350 Conestoga Road, Chester Springs, PA 19425. Rev. Alan Reider will officiate. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. Her viewing will be Monday morning in church from 9:30am to 11am. In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made in her memory to the St. Matthew's Church to the above address or the American Cancer Society, 480 Norristown Rd. Suite 150, Blue Bell PA 19422
