I am Walt's neighbor in Avalon for 25 years. When I first moved into my house Walt was the first person I met. He knew I was a contractor and also loved classic cars and fast cars so we hit it off right away. Walt was always there to lend a hand with any project I needed help with. I remember one time I went to start my boat and I did not know what was wrong with it. Walt was on my dock in no time and helped me thru it. Walt was a dedicated husband. They were together all the time. One of Walts very big joys was when Terri and Mike and their kids came down to the shore. He really enjoyed them being there. Walt had a special place in his heart for his son in law Mike, Whenever Mike was down they would always be doing projects together and Walt loved that. He told me on more than one occasion that heart and mind was at ease that a person as good as Mike was taking care of his daughter and there family I know it was rough at the end Walt REST IN PEACE Keith

My condolences to the Weney family and his extended racing family, I met Walt when the shop was a little white shop in Spring City,My sister Cathie and my brother in law Dodger Glenn,took me along with my niece Shawnee.Walt was always so nice.Shawnee and I always talk about racing days,Often mentioned Walt and Scotty.I'm sure Dodger,Walt and Scotty are going to build a car and race up in the big Sky,Boy one big hug and a argument "whose gone to drive the car" good memories sincerely Chris(Shingle)Schott
