Terry, Bryan and Emma, and all of Bill's friends and family-
I want you all to know how much Bill/your Dad meant to me....he would drop everything to help me or my family or friends whenever needed. Bill was an extremely giving person and extremely loyal to his family and friends. He was also just a great, great friend. Bill and I talked about many topics over the years, either in our adjoining driveways, on the deck, or over the phone. He was funny, smart, a bit of a cynic at times (a lot !) and just very entertaining. Bill was also religious and inspired me to be a better person and to be more spiritual. But he never pushed any of this on anyone.
Talk about unselfish, he gave all of his spare time to his family and his children-Bryan and Emma.....(and to his beloved lawn!!).....and always volunteered to coach their myriad sports teams. He was loved by all of his athletes and their parents alike. A huge sports fan himself, Bill was always up for a conversation about sports.
I'm going to miss Bill so much and as I think about him now, the fondness of my memories will never leave, but only get stronger over the coming years. He made such an impression on all of us. Billy, rest in peace my brother. We love you and we miss you so much.

I had the privilege of meeting Bill a few times and I was on conference calls with Bill at work for over 15 years. We were so sorry to hear of Bill's diagnosis last year and his valiant fight with cancer.
We love you guys and miss you all. We know how much you will miss Bill and how he was the center of your world and family.
Bill, and you all, were so much more than the greatest neighbors ever. He was an unbelievable friend, always there for anybody at anytime. I'll always remember him out and about in the neighborhood - helping one of us with whatever was needed....plowing snow, moving heavy things, yardwork, IT, helping kids....it was never ending.

I can't even express how sorry I am. I just loved Bill and it was an honor getting to know and work with him at Allstate. So many thoughts run through my mind as I write this. Bill was one of my favorites at Allstate. Maybe it was because he was a straight shooter, regardless of who was asking the question. He always gave a solution along with recognizing the problem. I met with him my last day at Allstate. He kidded me on who returns their phone in the original box! I admired his intelligence, wit and ability to dumb down IT talk to someone like me.
What I admired most though, was the way he handled his diagnosis. We spoke after he heard and his insistence of not wanting anyone to feel sorry for him said all anyone needed to know about Bill.
