Obituary of Joshua A. McCabe

Joshua "Josh" A. McCabe, 32,

Joshua McCabe, 32,  passed away Tuesday September 1, 2020 at his home in Pittsgrove, NJ.

Josh was born September 29, 1987 in Phoenixville Hospital.  Josh grew up in Royersford and attended Spring – Ford High School.  He furthered his education by attending CHI Institute and he eventually worked as an electrician where he worked on many new construction projects in various parts of the country.

Josh loved his mother and brother and spending time with family, He especially enjoyed fishing on the river with his brother, cousin, uncle and friends. Josh enjoyed listening to, playing and creating music while sitting on the beach and watching the waves.   He also enjoyed surfing and often talked about living on the road with a surf board on his roof.   Josh traveled and saw many parts of the world. He had a special appreciation for nature and loved bringing his mom and other family to visit his favorite places.   He had the opportunity to live in Florida, Denver, Oregon, Los Angeles, Hawaii and his favorite place, San Diego.

Josh leaves behind his mother, Christina McCabe, who has always been Josh’s strongest advocate and Robert McLaughlin, Christina’s fiancé, who became a great friend and role model for Josh.  He also leaves his brother Evan King, who Josh cherished deeply, step brothers Collin and Erik McLaughlin, maternal grandparents John and Patricia McCabe, aunts Tara (Robert) Clark, Melanie McCabe and uncle Jay McCabe. as well as cousins Corbin (Paige) McCabe, Aiden McCabe, Ian McCabe, Dallas Chesky, Troy and Alexa Clark.

A Private Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family Sunday, September 13, 2020.  Friends are invited to stop by for a visit with family afterwards and share a memory at a Celebration of Life gathering between 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM at 662 King of Prussia Rd, Wayne, PA 19087.
