Genevieve  J. Corretini, 75, Royersford

Genevieve “Joyce” Corretini, age 75, wife of the late Lawrence "Larry" Corretini,  of Royersford PA  passed away on Friday December 4, 2020, surrounded by her family.

Joyce was a loving wife and mother, born in South Philadelphia on Feb 27, 1945 to the late Joseph and Lucille Rodano, survived by her son Frank and his wife Dodie, sister in law Linda and her husband Joe, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Joyce was the youngest of four children and was predeceased by her siblings; brothers Frank and Joseph, and sister Antoinette.

Joyce went to South Philadelphia High School and was a trained beautician, but spent the majority of her career as a medical receptionist where she made countless friends and truly enjoyed her job until her retirement. Joyce spent a lifetime dedicated to her family and friends, making everyone feel special as only she could with her warm and caring nature. She loved family gatherings and holiday dinners at her house, particularly the Christmas Eve traditional feast.

After relocating to the Royersford area, Joyce enjoyed traveling with her son and daughter in law, making new friends in her community, and enjoying many special times with her dear friend Gene and his extended family.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday December 12 in St. Teresa of Calcutta, 256 Swamp Pike, Schwenksville.

Visitation at the church will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, December 12 prior to the service at St. Teresa of Calcutta.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation to their favorite charity in Joyce’s name.
