Obituary of Virginia L. Dvorak

Please share a memory of Virginia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Virginia  L. (Rowland) Dvorak, 67, Phoenixville

Virginia Dvorak, 67,  unexpectedly passed away Tuesday January 19, 2021 at home.

She was born March 4, 1953 in Phoenixville to the late Edwin Rowland and Sally (Dannaker)  Rowland. The oldest of five children, Virginia was a dynamic oldest daughter.  She graduated from The Center for Arts and Technology Vo-technical School in Chester County in 1971 and pursued a career in graphic design.

Virginia celebrated life and had a loud, consuming laugh.  She had fond memories of going to the beach in the summers as a teenager spending time at the Villas in New Jersey with friends.

She enjoyed spending time in the summer with her family at Mommom and Poppop Rowland’s  house in Villas, NJ as her children were growing up. She also spent many Fridays for pizza and Sundays after church with her large extended side at Mommom and Poppop Dvorak’s house.

Virginia passionately loved her daughters and grandchildren. As her daughters were growing up, her voice could be heard across athletic fields and basketball courts, cheering them on. She loved to watch sports as much as she had loved to play them. Later in life, her grandchildren became her heart and soul. They will miss her beyond measure.

Virginia leaves behind her mother:  Sally Rowland of Bay Minette, Alabama and two daughters:  Ashley (wife of Erik) Rutchauskas of Spring City; Devin (wife of Darnell) Stanford of Mechanicsburg. Four grandchildren:  Emma, Eli, Delaney and Desmond. She remained close with her brother Eddie Rowland and her sister Cathy Jones.

All arrangements will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Phoenixville Community Education Foundation (PCEF). In the notes section of the donation page, please include "For the Michael D. Sands Memorial Scholarship Fund". (http://www.pceonline.com/donate ) or the Phoenixville Marian Youth Club (PMYC).

Online condolences can be made at www.rstrunkfuneralhome.com. All arrangements are being handled by R.Strunk Funeral Home, Inc Phoenixville, PA.
