Ann Rittersbach, 74, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away Saturday April 10, 2021 in the Pottstown Hospital - Tower Health.
She was born May 20, 1946 in Liverpool, England to the late Samuel Lamkin and the late Christina Dooley Lamkin. The youngest of 12 children, Ann completed her education in England and immigrated to the United States as a teenager. She worked as a nanny in her early years but spent most of her adult life in the Pottstown area where she worked as a server at several restaurants before retiring. Ann enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping, being outdoors, gardening, and attending church. She was a member of the St Aloysius Church, Pottstown.
Ann is survived by her son Phillip, husband of Richelle Rittersbach; daughter Amanda, wife of Michael Kelly; five grandchildren: Brandon, husband of Rebecca Ammon; Brittany, Jeremey, Kyle, and Madison; and one great granddaughter, Eleanor. She was predeceased by her parents and two sons, Jason and Keith Garnett.
Friends and Family are invited to her Funeral Mass on Tuesday, April 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Aloysius RC Church 223 Beech Street, Pottstown, PA 19464. Two opportunities to visit with the family will be Monday evening, April 19, 2021 5:00 PM – 7 PM, at the R. Strunk Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 and Tuesday, April 20, 2021 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM prior to the Mass at Church.
