Daniel Higgins, Jr., 23, beloved son and grandson passed away Thursday April 22, 2021.

Born April 14, 1998, the only son to Danny Higgins, Sr. and the late Denise (Mackewicz) Higgins in Pottstown, PA.   Dan was a 2016 graduate of Spring Ford High School.  He enjoyed the outdoors and had a wonderful way of working with his hands.  His most recent place of employment was for Heritage Fence.

Dan leaves behind his paternal grandparents:  John “Danny” and Judy Higgins of Douglassville, maternal grandfather:  Dave Mackewicz; brother:  Brian Oplinger and sister Brittany Oplinger, extended family including:  aunts, uncles, several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his adoring mother, Denise Higgins and grandmother, Virginia Mackewicz.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church on Friday, April 30, 2021 at 11 AM.  Friends are invited to meet with the family Friday morning, prior to the service at the R. Strunk Funeral Home; 400 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA 19460 from 9 – 10 AM and Thursday evening, April 29^th 2021 from 6- 8 PM.  A burial will be immediately following at St. Ann’s Cemetery, Pothouse road, Phoenixville.
