Obituary of Doris M. Bauman

Doris  M. Bauman, 78, Spring City

Doris Bauman, 78,  passed away Friday May 14, 2021 in the Parkhouse At Providence Pointe after a brief battle with Cancer.

She was born July 30, 1942 in Phoenixville to the late  Harry  and the late Grace (Keffer) Bauman. One of two children, Doris, the oldest, was a 1961 Spring Ford Graduate.  She resided in the Spring Ford area her entire life.  The Bauman’s attended Zion Lutheran Church,  where Doris taught Sunday School with her mom, was a Vacation Bible School teacher and was on the Altar Guild.  Doris spent many years as the Treasurer for the Cemetery Committee.  She was an Elvis fan and enjoyed collecting Elvis memorabilia. Doris worked various jobs, but her most recent and fulfilling, was working at the Bard House as a Manager.  She was a faithful friend to so many in the Bard Community and Spring City Area.  Her family will miss her dearly.

Doris leaves behind her brother:  Daniel Bauman (Maggie) and Nephews and Nieces:  Dan Bauman, Jr. (Wendy) Sean Murtha (Diane) and April Krauss and great nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday July 10, 2021 in the Zion Lutheran Church, 39 Bonnie Brae Rd., Spring City with Rev. Tina Mackie officiating.

Friends and family are invited to visit with the family from  10:00 AM to 11:00 AM Saturday, July 10 prior to the service at Zion Lutheran Church. Interment of Ashes will be immediately following the service.
