Charles "Chickie" R. Epps, 71, Pottstown

Charles Epps, 71,  passed away Thursday June 3, 2021 in the Pottstown Hospital - Tower Health.

He was born one of seven siblings September 10, 1949 in Phoenixville to the late  Clyde Sr. & Lydia Epps.  Chickie and his brother James were inseparable.  Charles was a devoted brother and enjoyed his family.  He never wanted to miss a family picnic.  Although not blood relatives, he cherished his ARC family and those that worked for the ARC Alliance community where he and James have been in an assisted living home for many years.  Chickie loved to play cards, was an avid bowler, and especially enjoyed watching WWF as he was a fan of professional wrestling.  A highlight for Chickie was traveling to Graceland, he loved music, especially Elvis and it would not be uncommon to see Chickie dancing when the music started playing.

Charles leaves behind his brother, James Epps and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters:  Alma Porter, Agnes Sell, Inez DeMatto, Martha Desiderio, and brother:  Clyde Epps, Jr.
