Obituary of John W. Kring

John W. Kring, 77, went to be with his Savior on June 9, 2021.  He was the loving and faithful husband of Claire (Harris) Kring.  He was the son of the late Clyde Kring and Florence (James) Kring. 

John graduated from Spring-Ford High School in 1962 and then served in the US Army from 1962-1965.  He attended Philadelphia College of Bible and then was employed at Penco Products in Oaks for the next 42 years.  After those 42 years, he retired as Manager of Customer Service. 

John served on the Royersford Borough Council for over 25 years and was President of the Council for many years.  He loved fishing and hunting but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.  He also enjoyed being a member of Calvary Bible Church. 

John was the beloved father of Brooke Horne (Rod) and John W. Kring, Jr. (Dana).  He was the amazing Pop-Pop to his four grandchildren, Reece, Paige, Emma and Abigail.  John is survived by his sister Louise Schaeffer and brother Clyde Kring, Jr. 

A service to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, June 19^th at Calvary Bible Church, 110 Valley Park Road, Phoenixville with Rev. James Bracelin officiating.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and the service will be held at 11:00 am. 

Burial will be immediately following in the Limerick Garden of Memories.
