Obituary of Mary Ann Woods

MaryAnn (Buckwalter) Woods, 80, of Pottstown PA passed away Thursday, June 10th, 2021.

She was born in Pottstown, PA on August 27, 1940, the daughter of the late Jacob and Mary (Ryan) Buckwalter and wife of the late Larry J. Woods.

She was a graduate of Pottstown High School Class of 1958 and attended Millersville University. MaryAnn worked as an unemployment specialist of the Department of Labor. She loved playing bridge, arranging flowers, gardening, crafting, and having lunches with her friends. But most of all, MaryAnn loved her grandchildren and following their activities. She will be missed by all.

She is survived by her children, Son Gregory (& Kathleen) Woods of Pottstown, Daughter Susan (& Chris) Adams of Slatington, Daughter Megan (& the late John) McMenamin of Pottstown, Brother Tom (& Janice) Buckwalter of Harrisburg, and her 10 Grandchildren Shelaugh, Terrence, Caitlin, Ryan, Mallory, Benjamin, Holly, Michael Joe, JohnRyan, & Seth as well as many Great-grandchildren, her Niece Kimberly, and her beloved dog, Maddie.

Along with her parents and husband, she is predeceased by her Stepmother Genevieve Buckwalter.

MaryAnn’s Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 16th at 2pm with visitation from 1-2pm at St. Aloysius Roman Catholic Church 223 Beach St. Pottstown, PA 19464.
