Obituary of Leslie Thola Femino

Leslie Thola (Horning) Femino, 69

Leslie Thola Femino passed away June 14, 2021 after a valiant fight with Cancer.  The daughter and baby of the family, Leslie was born May 22, 1952.  Her parents were the Late Lester and Late Thola (VanAmburg) Horning.  Leslie was a light in the lives of everyone she met.  A graduate of Spring Ford High School, she attended Athens College in Alabama.  From college, she came home to help in the family business of Horning Chevrolet.  When the family decided to leave the car business, Leslie became a Case Supervisor and worked for the Housing Authority. 

Leslie enjoyed life, and always had a laugh.  She loved her friends and enjoyed a good glass of Chivas Scotch.  Her family was her pride and joy.

Leslie is survived by her husband, James L. Femino, Children: Kristie Weidner (Tom Rhoads), Arthur Femino (Michelle), Adam Holcomb (Nicole Nocito) and Matthew Femino; Brother:  Phillip Horning (Kathy) and Five Grandchildren:  Kaitlin Weidner (Keegan Kling), Jacob Weidner, Tori Femino, Sarah Femino, Jimmy Femino and one great grandchild:  Kinsley Kling.  Preceded in death is her brother Steve Horning.
