Obituary of J. Robert Boness
J. Robert Boness of Royersford passed away at home on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. He was 75.
Robert was born in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania to Oscar and Evelyn Boness in May of 1946. He graduated from Gold Beach High School in Oregon and returned to Pennsylvania, taking up employment at AQUA in Bryn Mawr. Robert spent 38 years employed with them, bringing him into retirement.
If not indulging in his love for model trains, one could often find Robert watching the Phillies or Sixers any chance he got.
He is survived by his wife Linda, two stepdaughters: Lisa (Bill) Rinker, Shelly (Kenneth) Gaugler, his ½ brother: Carl Boness and three stepbrothers: Peter Martin, Dennis Martin, and Kenneth Martin, 3 step-Grandchildren: Paige (Hunter) Horn, Brody Smith, Mia Nelligan and one Great Step-Grandchild: Audrey Smith.
Visitation will be held at Shalkop, Grace and Strunk Funeral Home located at 135 Bridge Street in Spring City from 10:00 – 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 20, 2021 with service to follow at 11:00 AM at the Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made to Open Door located at 350 Main Street Royersford PA 19468.
