Verna R. Reiff, 95, Boyertown Verna R. (Snyder) Reiff, 95, Boyertown widow of Walter "Chick" Reiff passed away peacefully on Friday, June 7, in the morning at the Chesnut KnollNursing Home, Boyertown. Verna was born in Allentown and raised in Royersford, she was employed at the former Schuylkill Valley Hosiery Mill as a Looper, worked at Spring ford School District in the cafeteria and also was employed at the former Pennhurst State School, as a seamstress until her retirement. She was a member of the Royersford Bible Fellowship Church. Verna's hobbies were crocheting, knitting, reading, and traveling throughout the US. She enjoyed raising her children and being a home maker She is survived by grandchildren: Brandon, Ryan, Brent, Laura, John, Rick, Melissa, and Steven as well as 11 great grandchildren. She is predeceased by sons: Joseph and Francis Reiff. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 am followed by a funeral service at 10:30 am on Tuesday at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets, Spring City, PA. Burial to follow in Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Spring City. In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Caring Hospice Services, 400 Commerce Drive, Suite C.
