Obituary of Michael Thomas Fillipone
Michael Thomas Fillipone of Spring City passed away at his residence in the Southeastern Veterans Center on Sunday March 27, 2022. He was 72.
Born in Wayne, Pennsylvania to the late Dominic and Flora Fillipone, Michael eventually joined the United States Marine Corps and fought in Vietnam. After returning home, he met and married the love of his life, Jennifer Moltin.
Described as very quiet and gentle, Michael loved collecting model cars and adored animals, especially dogs. Nothing would light up his face quite like when the therapy dogs came to visit.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Dominic & Flora (Rizzi) Fillipone, and his wife, Jennifer Moltin. He will be remembered and interred with full military honors at Fort Indiantown Gap cemetery on April 5, 2022. A very special thanks to the staff at the Southeastern Veterans Center for the irreplaceable love and support of our veterans, like Michael.
