Florence A. (McKenna) Loconsole, age 83 passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on July 3, 2013. Born in Schwenksville on August 22, 1929, she was the wife of the late Carl T. Loconsole, Jr. and daughter to the late Michael and Cecilia (Pulkowska) McKenna. Florence was a graduate of Schwenksville High School where she was a member of the award winning Color Guard. Florence a resident of Spring City (formerly of West Norriton) started her communications career at Bell Telephone and then to Sacred Heart Hospital retiring after twenty years with the hospital's closure. She was a devoted Mother and Grandmother who was active in all of her children and grandchildren's lives, attending many sporting, dance and musical events. She was an avid Phillies and Eagles Fan rooting on her home town boys! She is survived by Children: Carol (Martin) Merritt of Norristown, Carl (Christine) Loconsole of West Norriton, Gary (Laura) Loconsole of Blue Bell, Gail (William) Sullivan of Spring City, Michael Loconsole of Conshohocken and Matthew (Michele) Loconsole of Boynton Beach, FL. 13 grandchildren; Thomas and Nathan Merritt and the late Derek Merritt. Andrew and David Loconsole, Robert and Ryan Loconsole, Marisa and Jeremy Sullivan, Michael and Margaret Loconsole and Jordan and Dylan Loconsole; three great grandchildren: Derek, Nathan, and Nickolas; and two sisters, Sarah Greger of Lansdale and Catherine (Ronald) Kulp of Phoenixville and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother: Michael M. McKenna and her sister: Jane Bernard. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass on Tuesday July 9, 2013 at 11:00am at St. Joseph Catholic Church 3640 Schuylkill Road. Spring City PA 19475 with the Rev.
