Obituary of Howard E. Frith, Jr.

Master Sergeant Howard E. Frith Jr. passed away in the hospital with wife Ruth and son Philip by his side.  He was born in Pennsylvania November the 11th, 1938.  He attended high school in Royersford PA where he enjoyed playing Basketball.  Howard went into the Army in 1961 and proudly served with tours in Korea and Vietnam.  He and his wife of 59 years loved military life.  Howard had many hobbies and interests. He especially enjoyed working on cars and leather designing.  He was also an artist with wood working projects. Howard also worked in his garden growing tomatoes and sunflowers. 

He was a big brother to his siblings. Sadly brothers John & Larry and sister Alice have all preceded Howard in death.  He is survived by his wife:  Ruth Schad Frith, Son:  Philip (wife, Shannon) two granddaughters (Angela and Laura) two great grandsons and sisters:  Betty Frith Miller and Jan Frith Hohlefelder.

In El Paso, funeral arrangements were arranged by Sunset Funeral Home.  Shalkop, Grace & Strunk in PA will assist with the final resting place at Augustus Lutheran Church Cemetery, May 19, 2022

Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, Wounded Warrior Project, and Tunnel to Towers.
