Floyd was my absolute favorite at Spring Mill. He pretended to be grumpy then would give me that great big smile. I was a therapist at PowerBack and remember a terrible fall he had in 2015 that left him with a traumatic brain injury. He got sent back to the hospital and no one expected him to survive. Not only did he survive … after he returned to Spring Mill, he told us that the family had his obituary written. Floyd loved his sons and always made sure they’d be taken care of after he was gone. He outlived all his original table mates in the dining room. That table was crazy fun! You could always hear them laughing. I had the privilege to work with everyone at that table during my 11 years there. May Floyd, Bob, Elsie, Addie, and Violet be stirring up trouble again in Heaven’s dining room. I love you Floyd. And will forever miss talking with you. Happy you’re with your beloved wife again. God Bless you my friend.
