Obituary of Victor A. Dinnocenti

Please share a memory of Victor to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Victor  A. Dinnocenti, 79, East Coventry

Victor Dinnocenti, 79,  husband of Elaine R. Weney Dinnocenti, passed away Monday June 13, 2022 at home.

He was born February 16, 1943 in Pottstown to the late Camillo Dinnocenti and the late Concetta (Petrucci) Dinnocenti.   The youngest of seven children, Victor was a 1961 graduate of Spring Ford High School and married his high-school sweetheart, Elaine, in July of 1964 and then raised their family in East Coventry.  Always creative with his hands and sharp mind, at the young age of 18, Victor started working for Twin County Construction, a family-owned small business, and he remained a loyal Superintendent in the construction business for over 50 years.

A devoted family man at heart, Victor was so proud of his life with family.  He worked hard during the day, and then would come home and work hard at night to renovate his and many other people’s homes.  A true DIY man, Victor was not afraid to tackle any job. He enjoyed eating and cooking Italian food and Meatballs were his specialty. Once a month he ventured out with the guys for “Italian Night” to check out his competition – his meatballs would always come out on top.  He enjoyed being a Scout Master for Boy Scouts and was a life member at the Italian Bocce Club of Royersford. During retirement he adored watching and spending time with his grandchildren and was their biggest sideline fan.  Pop Pop didn’t miss an activity.

Victor leaves behind his wife, Elaine R. Dinnocenti (Weney) of almost Fifty-eight years; two children:  Mark Dinnocenti (Heather) and Kristen Moran (Darren); four grandchildren: Anthony & Joseph Dinnocenti and Tori and Corbin Moran; one great grandson: Ryker Dinnocenti and he was an uncle to MANY nieces and nephews.  He is survived by one sister:  Clare Dinnocenti and is predeceased by his parents:  Camillo and Concetta Dinnocenti, three brothers: Joseph Dinnocenti, Nicola Dinnocenti, Camillo (JR) Dinnocenti, and two sisters: Irene Dinnocenti and Anne Harrington.

A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 11:00 AM – (visitation beginning at 9:30AM) at the Good Shepherd Chapel at Limerick Garden of Memories 44 Swamp Pike, Limerick PA.   Burial will immediately follow in Limerick Garden of Memories Cemetery.
