Obituary of Thomas Davidson DiGiacomo
Thomas “Dave” DiGiacomo, age 48 of Royersford, died on the morning of Friday, February 10th in the Sanatoga Center, after a brief illness. Dave was born in Phoenixville, PA a son to the late John J. DiGiacomo III and loving son of Margaret “Bunny” (Yednock) DiGiacomo.
Dave resided all of his life in Royersford, a 1992 graduate of Spring Ford High School. Dave was employed for many years at Redner’s Markets as Manager of Frozen Food. He was a big sports fan, being an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers all his life. Dave also enjoyed music, attending several of his favorite rock concerts, and loved playing video games in his spare time. Most of all he loved spending time with his loved ones at family gatherings, and was very proud to recently be made an uncle.
In addition to his mother, Dave is survived by his brothers: John R. DiGiacomo and Joseph M. DiGiacomo (and wife Hannah) and his niece Reyna, as well as several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and other extended family.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral mass on Thursday at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart Church at Lewis Rd. and Walnut Street with the Rev. Tadeusz Gorka officiating. Burial to follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Phoenixville. A public visitation will be held the evening prior, on Wednesday from 7-9pm at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home at 135 Bridge Street, Spring City PA. There will also be smaller viewing on Thursday morning prior to the service, from 9-10 am.
