Bill and I met playing softball in Phoenixville in the 1980's. We had great times together at the shore and hanging out. We both worked for the Postal Service but never had a chance to work together. Bill meant so much to me I asked him to be a Groomsmen in my wedding in 1988. After retirement from the postal service, we both worked for Krise transportation in Phoenixville were we spent many days reminiscing about our days playing ball. Bill would salute me everyday as our buses pulled out of the lot. He was a wonderful friend and will be greatly missed. God bless his family and friends.

Bill was such a dear and special person. I have known him and Mary since Corrine was in my third grade class and Tina assisted me in my classroom when in 12th grade. But it was my privilege to get to know Bill better this year. I was able to be a part of some delightful family get togethers, and observed how friendly, kind, fun, and sincerely Loving he was with Everyone, particularly his family. He had a way of making every person who talked to him feel welcomed and appreciated. His reverence in playing TAPS at East Pikeland, Manovan, and Barkley will always be remembered by all the students and staff that have ever heard him play. May he be at peace in glory with the Lord, and may His family feel the peace of Jesus that passes all understanding at this difficult time.

Bill was our son’s bus driver and we are so grateful for him. He was always so kind to the children and made sure the youngest ones felt safe and comfortable. His hard work was truly appreciated and we will miss seeing him every morning and afternoon. Our deepest condolences to his family.

Bill will be greatly missed , he was always such a happy person .He was so loving of his wife and 2daughters , always talked about them and was very proud. .I will miss him coming in to pickup his orders at Villa Pizza ,always talked about how he liked driving the school bus. Mary, girls, and families…I will forever cherish all the memories of Bill! Our marching in band, giving him the Steve Miller album for Christmas…and, his smile! How lucky you are Mary, to have had this man as your husband, and you , my friend, for being a great wife and mom to the girls! Wherever you were he was right beside you! I knew Bill since our elementary school years at East Pikeland. We played baseball together at KYAL and at Babe Ruth in Phoenixville and graduated High School together. I ran into him often as we waited in line for our donuts at the Kimberton Fair. He was always such a nice, pleasant and down-to-earth person. He was one of the nicest people I've ever known. I was shocked to hear of the passing of my old work buddy "Bulk Bill". We had years of fun working together at the Oxford Post Office. We would keep in touch and he told me how he enjoyed driving a school bus. He was a great man and I will miss him. My condolences go out to the family
