Obituary of Nelson Edward White, Jr.

Nelson White, Jr., 57,  husband to Lisa Zornick White, passed away early Thursday morning, June 29, 2023 surrounded by his adoring family.

Nelson was born October 2, 1965 in Philadelphia to the late Nelson White, Sr. and the late Nancy Jennings White. Nelson was a proud partner in Nelson White & Sons Plumbing, Heating, and Air Conditioning, which he inherited from his late father.  He spent his entire life in this career, and was a Master Plumber.  He and his brother successfully have been running the business since his father’s death in February of 2015. Although he was proud of the family legacy business, Nelson was most proud of his greatest accomplishment:  being a dad and family man.  

Nelly was the entertainer of the family.  He brought joy to so many family events, and more. It was not uncommon to have him at the grill with a glass of Jamison in his hand. He was a fearless man, and enjoyed the thrill of diving into the sky and into the ocean.

Nelson leaves behind his adoring wife, Lisa, of 34 years; his Three sons:  Scott (wife, Samantha), Tyler, and Austin White; Daughter:  Erin White; and his two grandchildren:  Colton and Nellie White.   He was the eldest child to his parents, Nancy and Nelson Sr. Nelson was one of 4 children including Todd White (wife, Jean), Tracey White, and Dale Powers. His Extended family included his Mother and Father in law, John and Rita Zornick, and his brother in law:  Michael Zornick (Wife, Marian).

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening , July 5, 2023 from 6-8 PM, followed by 9:00-11:00 am. Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the R. Strunk Funeral Home. The Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, July 6 at the R. Strunk Funeral Home, 400 Main Street, Phoenixville PA. An open mic will be available for you to share beloved stories of Nelson at this time.
