Obituary of Russell Gee Simcox
Russell Gee Simcox Jr., age 62 passed away Thursday July 13, 2023 in Phoenixville PA. He was the son of Joan C. (Martin) Whited and the late Russell G. Simcox Sr.
Russell was born May 5, 1961 in Norristown, Pennsylvania and was loved by many and will truly be missed. Russell graduated from the Marine Corps June 20, 1979 and had a love for life, laughter and adventure. Among Russell’s many talents he was an avid tree climber and had a love for music as he was a self-taught banjo player.
In addition to his mother, Russell is survived by his loving wife, Debra Simcox, his brother Roy Whited, 3 sons, 4 daughters, 14 grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, two sisters and one son.
A memorial service will be held privately.
