Carol H. (Halteman) Vining, age 71 wife of Barry Vining of Royersford passed away Wednesday, October 23, at home. Born in Phoenixville and raised in Spring City, Carol was the daughter of the late Eugene Halteman and the late Caroline (Lee) Halteman A 1960 graduate of Spring Ford High School, she also attended Norristown Beauty School. Carol was employed in the administrative offices of The Spring Ford School District. She was a lifelong member of The Spring City United Methodist Church where she was a member of the board, worked in the nursery, was a member of the Alter Guild, and enjoyed Bible Study. Carol enjoyed reading, playing cards, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. In addition to her husband of 52 years, Carol is survived by her two sons, Barry, husband of Holly Vining of Spring City, and Dean, husband of Michelle Vining of Limerick; and four grandchildren, David, Louis, Katie, and Alissa. She is also survived by her three sisters, Sandra Boettger, Janet Kandler, and Beth Yanocha. A celebration of life will be held 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at Spring City United Methodist, 45 N Church St, Spring City, PA with The Reverend Dennis Keen officiating. A private burial will be Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Calling hours will be Saturday, October 26 from 10:30 - 12:00 at Spring City United Methodist, 45 N Church St, Spring City, PA.
