Obituary of Melinda S. Petiet

Melinda “Mindy” S. Petiet, age 50 died on July 27, 2023, at her residence. She was born in Phoenixville, a daughter to the late Franklin and Carol Marie (Katein) Petiet. Mindy was raised in East Pikeland Township, she was a 1991 graduate of Phoenixville High School, Mindy was employed as a bartender and waitress for many years at various establishments in the area. Mindy loved her family and was the family caretaker taking care of her grandmother and parents. She loved animals and crafting.

Mindy is survived by her sister: Rebecca (Ron) Stevens, and a brother: Franklin Anthony Petiet. Also, 3 nieces and 2 nephews and many great nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday, August 17, 2023 from10-11:30 AM at the R. Strunk Funeral Home 400 Main St. Phoenixville, followed by a Celebration of her Life at 11:30. Private burial will be held in Limerick Garden of Memories.    In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be made in her memory to the Chester County SPCA.
