William "Bill" J. Reitnour, 80, Spring City

William Reitnour, 80,  (husband of the late Donna Hudak) passed away Sunday evening August 20, 2023 in the Phoenix Center.

He was born November 17, 1942 in Pottstown to the late  G. Newton Reitnour, Jr and the late Marian (Pennypacker) Reitnour.  After graduating in 1960 from Owen J. Roberts High School, Bill was drafted into Army where he served in Vietnam.  He and his family were long time members of the Chester County community, where they worshipped and participated in many different circles of friends.  Bill was a Deacon and Elder for St. Matthews UCC and he sang in the choir.  He really did enjoy music.  In his free time, Bill participated in a bowling league at Limerick Lanes.  He retired after 42 years from McKissic & Company where he was a Foreman. 

Bill leaves behind his brother Robert (Kathaleen) and sister, Diane Myer (Jerry), Sister in Law:  Lois Reitnour; two nieces, five nephews and several great nieces and nephews.  Preceded in death were his two brothers:  Barry A. Reitnour and G. Newton III (husband of the late Carole Hawthorne).

A Private interment will take place at St. Matthews UCC Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to celebrate his life at a Memorial service at 3PM at the St. Matthews UCC Church, 2350 Conestoga Road, Chester Springs, PA 19425

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Matthew’s UCC, 2350 Conestoga Road, Chester Springs, PA 19425.
