Marilyn Williamson, 75 years old of Pottstown, passed away peacefully on October 6th, 2023 surrounded by her loving family. She leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and support.
Born on June 24th, 1948 in Frazer, Marilyn was the only child of the late James and May Barber (Pierce). Marilyn married Art Williamson and they enjoyed building a life together and working hard. She worked for over 35 years at the Uniform Tube Company, now called Viant Tube.
Marilyn loved her summers and enjoyed going to Sea Isle City with her family. Throughout her life, Marilyn was a pilar of strength for her family. She was a source of guidance, support and endless love. Marilyn was not only a loving wife and mother, but also a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. She was adored by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a special bond with each one of them and her unconditional love will forever be etched in their hearts.
Marilyn is survived by her husband of 28 years, Arthur T. Williamson, Jr.; son, James Gillam (wife, Jody) and daughter, Tracy Vanderslice (husband, Steve). Four grandchildren, Shelby May (husband, Eric), Tanner Vanderslice, Michael Gillam and Kylee Costello. Two great-grandchildren, Wyatt May and Callie May.
She is preceded in death by her son, Kevin Gillam and daughter, Tina Costello (Husband, John).
Marilyn’s memory will be carried on by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and the many friends and extended family members who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 18th from 6:00 to 10:00 PM at Friendship Fire Company 269 Green Street, Royersford.
