Obituary of Joseph J. Pollock, Jr.

Joseph John Pollock, Jr., 60, of Ephrata, PA passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the Silver Stream Rehabilitation Center.

Born on November 10, 1962 in Pottstown, PA he was the son of the late Joseph John and Edna (Edleman) Pollock, Sr.

He spent most of his life in the Royersford/Pottstown area. A graduate of St. Pius X and a former member of Sacred Heart and St. Aloysius Parishes.

He was a longtime, dedicated employee at Giant as crew leader prior to retirement. Joseph loved watching all Philly sport teams, tennis, motocross, Formula One and playing games such as chess or backgammon. He loved Harley Davidson including riding his sportster and was an avid fan of Snoopy and the Peanuts gang. He was proud of his family, especially his grandchildren.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Jill (Ritschard); three children, Joseph J Pollock III (wife, Rachel), Jason Pollock (wife, Hope) and Elizabeth Cobb (husband, Kenneth Cobb, Jr); five grandchildren, Tegan Pollock, Bailey Pollock, Bella Pollock, Colette (Coco Jo) Cobb and Memphis Pollock. He is also survived by his sister, Karen Buckwalter (husband, Tom).

Preceded in death by his grandson Joseph John (JJ) Pollock IV, with whom they shared their love for military history. “Pop Pop Pistols”
