Obituary of Brian D. Beiter

Please share a memory of Brian to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

In loving memory of Brian David Beiter, 51, who lost his battle with cancer on December 6, 2023 at Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. He was born at the General Hospital in Wilkes-Barre, PA on September 5, 1972 and lived most of his life in the Wyoming Valley of Pennsylvania.

After graduating from Dallas High School in 1990 he became a Certified Cisco Engineer and spent 10 years around the suburbs of Philadelphia working for SunGuard and then Vanguard before moving back to Luzerne in 2008.

Brian was a jack of all trades who dabbled in many business opportunities. He owned a pizza place, Dominico’s on the Dallas Highway in Shavertown. A fireplace and stonework business called The Fireplace Guys and two different lawn service businesses, Beiter and Associates Lawn Services and the last one he owned was B-Green Lawn and Landscaping. Brian was very handy when it came to fixing stuff and would always be around when you needed help. He knew everything from roofing to plumbing. Brian was a master stoneworker, If you ever worked for him, you know he was very meticulous. He paid attention to every detail. You can see the beautiful job he did on the face of J Madison Spa on Wyoming Ave in Kingston. When you drive by remember him with a smile.

He was an avid golfer and a lover of good music. Brian loved so many bands but his favorite was the Grateful Dead and he attended many, many concerts. He was also all Philadelphia all the time, die hard Eagles, Phillies, Flyers and 76ers fan.

Brian is survived by his parents Eileen Heffron, Luzerne, and Dave Beiter, Pottstown. His two sisters Kim Cavalari, Forty Fort, her husband Ed and their two children Ian and Adam, and Sisi Beiter, Spring City.

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held on December 17th at the Wyoming Valley Country Club, 1695 South Main Street, Hanover Township, PA 18706. We will start receiving guests at 2pm with a meal at 2:45pm and the celebration service following the meal. Please honor Brian by wearing your favorite Philadelphia sports attire.
