Obituary of M. Marlene Kenny

Myrna Marlene Kenny, 83, Pottstown, PA

It is with deep sadness that we share that our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Myrna Marlene Kenny, 83, passed away at home on Friday, March 1, 2024, surrounded by her children.

Born in Royersford, Pennsylvania, on February 6, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Boyd and Thelma (Good) McGinithen.  She was employed for many years at Danco Precision, Inc., Phoenixville, PA, before relocating to Long Neck, Delaware.  She had a great passion for her many dogs, her plants, reading the Bible and for her church.  She also loved to crochet.  

She is survived by her husband, John Kenny, of Pottstown, PA

  Kevin McKinzie (and wife Jill) of Pensacola, FLA

  Sherrie Crochunis (and husband John) of Colorado Springs, CO

  Ashley Peak, Pottstown, PA

  Glenn Peak, Jr., Spring City, PA

  Natalie Peak, Boyertown, PA

  Jason Lemmons, Reno, NV

  Heather Dillard, Reno, NV

  Brian Lemmons, Reno, NV

  Brittney McKinzie-High, Norfolk, VA

  Breanne Zabicki, Reading, PA

 

Great Grandchildren:

  Benjamin and Jonathan Peak of Spring City, PA

  Kyler and Aiden Lemmons of Reno, NV

  Wyatt and Brooklyn Dillard of Reno, NV

And Betty Beddia, of Long Neck, Delaware, who was like a sister to her.

She was predeceased by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. The loss is unimaginable, our hearts are beyond broken. She will be greatly missed by all those that loved her.  All services are private at the request of family.  Arrangements are being handled by the Shalkop, Grace & Strunk Funeral Home.
