Obituary of Janet M. Irey

Janet M. Irey, age 92 wife of the late Donald Irey of Spring City, and Marion L. Wright of Coatesville PA  died on Monday, April 29, 2024 in the Manatawny Manor, East Coventry. Janet was born in Spring City a daughter to the late Howard DeWalt and Mary (Keim) DeWalt. Janet lived all of her life in Spring City, she was a graduate of  Spring City high School.                                          

Janet was employed for many years at O’Grady’s Restaurant, Owen J. Roberts School District and also at Woodbridge Adult Living in Kimberton.

She enjoyed caring for her family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: David S. Wright,( wife Catherine), Mary E. Taney(husband Lawrence E. Taney), Paul H. Wright(wife Rachele), She is  predeceased by son Mark C. Wright.

6 Grandchildren:  Jennifer Bartley(wife of Collin Bartley), Melanie Wright,  Christin Fareri (wife of Sam Fareri), Corey Taney (husband to Maria Taphorn Taney), Adam Wright( Beth Myers) and Zachary Wright

8 Great Grandchildren:  Victoria Neithammer ( Husband Josh), Jayden Bartley, Connor Bartley, Bella Wood, Abigail Fareri, Aidan Fareri, Lucas Taney and Jacob Taney

And one brother, Glenn DeWalt and wife Mildred.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside Funeral Service on  May 13, 2024  at  10:30 AM at the Pughtown Baptist/Branch Life Church Cemetery, 780 Pughtown Road, Spring City.
