Earline "Ginny"  Medina, 59, Royersford

Earline Virginia Medina, 59,  widow to the late Juan Carlos Medina, a beloved daughter, mother and grandmother, passed away Saturday, May 11, 2024 at her home.

She was born May 23, 1964 in Pottstown to the late William Hefelfinger and Phyllis Everingham, survived by her mom, Marcy Hefelfinger.  Ginny resided most of her life in the Spring-Ford area where she graduated from Spring-Ford High School.  After high school, she did some traveling and lived in a few other states, pursuing her education in New Jersey, and attended Salem County Community College to study nursing, where she earned a degree as a Registered Nurse.

Ginny loved being a mother and grandmother and did not let anything get in her way of raising her five children.  She loved having her family dinners and game nights with her children as they grew older.  Becoming a Grammy was everything to her and her grandchildren meant the world to her.  She enjoyed having sleepovers, gatherings, and adventures with them.  They brought her such joy, love, and laughter.

Ginny is survived by her five children:  Rachel Pollock (wife to Joseph), Gheorghe Calancea, Jr., Jessica Medina, Carlos Medina, and Rebekah Medina; ten grandchildren: Ava Jean, Dylan, Aiden, Bella Eli, Lilly, Wesley, Ava Claire, Gabriel, and Bryson; and seven siblings: Jackie, Carolyn, Trisha, Jannea, Bill, Mary, and Joe; along with many other family and friends.

Ginny was predeceased by grandson Joseph “JJ” Pollock IV, brother Fred Davy, and sister Mary Elizabeth Hefelfinger.
