Herbert C. Kulp, age 74, beloved husband of Barbara (Burns) Kulp of Limerick PA died on Monday in the Pottstown memorial Medical Center. Herbert and Barbara were in their 55th year of marriage.
Born in Yerkes, PA Herbert was the son of the late Harvey and Bessie (Wagner) Kulp. Herbert resided most of his life in the Limerick area, he was employed as a plumber owning and operating H.C. Kulp and Son for forty years until his retirement. Herbert was a member of the Spring City American Legion Thomas W. O'Connor Post 602, the Liberty Fire Company Spring City and The Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6341 Royersford. Herbert was hard working and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons: Kenneth M. husband of Brenda Kulp of Limerick and Kevin L. husband of Christina Kulp of Media. And grandchildren: Shawn, Christopher and Haley Kulp. He is predeceased by sisters: Beatrice Miller, Josephine Ziegler, Dorothy Weygand, and Ruth Melchiore and brothers: Howard and Robert Kulp.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his memorial service on Saturday at 11am at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets Spring City. The Rev. Paul Thornhill officiating. Burial private. Visitation will be Saturday morning from 10-11am in the funeral home. On line condolences may be made at www.sgsfuneralhome.com
