Dear Joe and family,
I am so sorry for your loss and I no doubt Amy will be deeply missed by you all.
From conversations with Joe in recent months I know you fought so much for her and she would have been so grateful for such a caring husband and family. I am so sorry that you did not win that battle and may she rest in peace.

I give my deepest condolences. Amy and I spent time together in elementary, middle, and high school. We performed in plays and even took part in the 5th-grade talent show, where she was my backup singer as we performed Aretha Franklin’s Respect. I have fond memories of playing at her house as kids. We even went to prom together. Amy Kovach was a sweet, thoughtful, and incredibly smart person. I’m truly sorry to hear of her passing, and I’m keeping her and her family in my thoughts and prayers.

I was honored to have spent one precious weekend with Amy. She was the shining light of our group at Mary’s Place. I have a 3 year old granddaughter. Amy and I shared stories of these beautiful children in our lives. Her love and concern for her son was so evident and so moving. My heart is broken. Though I am unable to travel to her services, I send you all much love and support. She will always remain in my heart. I send you all healing….

Words aren’t enough to describe what you truly meant to me. We got so close over the last few years and you taught me more than you’d ever be able to realize. I’ll keep the lessons you taught me close to my heart and I will continue your fight for the rest of my life.
I love you and will miss you forever my purple warrior.

I can’t say enough about Amy to capture her grace, beauty (inside and out) and fighting spirit. I met Amy while she was in the middle of her battle- as I had the privilege of working with her and Joe’s cherished son to help with his speech. She was such an inspiration to me in how to live such a positive message in such difficult challenges. Always warm and loving with Myles yet also able to maintain limits and guidance to her son. She lived her life with integrity and grace- and leaves a beautiful legacy to all who knew her. I will be rooting for Joe and Myles through prayer to stay strong throughout the next chapter of their lives.
