Obituary of Eleanor J. Walsh

Eleanor J. Walsh, 83, Royersford, PA Eleanor J. Walsh, 83, of Royersford, widow of the late Thomas A. Walsh, Sr., died at The Regina Nursing Home in Norristown, PA. Born August 27, 1930, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Daniel Altomare and the late Jane Metzler. A graduate of Little Flower High School, Philadelphia, she enjoyed traveling the world; particularly cruising with her friends. She would often spend the cold Pennsylvania winters on the West Coast of Florida. Eleanor volunteered at the Limerick Outpatient Center, was a member of The American Italian Bocce Club in Royersford, and the VFW Post 6341 of Royersford. In addition, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons Thomas A. Walsh, Jr. of Trappe, PA; John Walsh of Spring City, PA; and Steven J. Walsh, husband of Kim of Gilbertsville, PA; four grandchildren, Kelley (Walsh) Sidlo, Bridget Walsh, Joseph Walsh, and Shana Walsh; and one great granddaughter Rowan Sidlo. She is also survived by her brother, Benjamin Cutler, of Missouri. She is predeceased by her sister, Linda Cutler, and her brother, Bob Wills. The funeral services and burial are being held privately at the convenience of the family. The family asks that random acts of kindness be performed to honor her memory.
