Obituary of Marguerite Peg Rentschler

Marguerite "Peggy" (Seitler) Rentschler, age 79 wife of James "Jim" Rentschler Sr., passed away peacefully on Saturday morning at her home in Parkerford.
Peg was born in Phoenixville a daughter to the late Nicholas Albert and Katherine Susan (Kunsch) Seitler. Peg resided most of her life in Spring City and the Parkerford area. She was a 1954 graduate of Phoenixville High School where she played softball and was in the Marching Band.
Peg was also a member of the Liberty Fire Company in Spring City, she enjoyed going to the casinos. Peg loved her family and will be greatly missed.
Peg was the loving mother of Daughter: Pamela S. wife of Edward Brown of Parkerford, grandmother of Edward J. Brown of Royersford and sister to the late: Elaine Rentschler and Albert Seitler .
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Wednesday at 10:30am at the Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets, Spring City. Interment will follow in the Valley Forge Memorial Gardens, King of Prussia. Her viewing will be held Wednesday from 9am to 10:30am. Memorial gifts may be made in her memory to the Seasons Hospice Chester County 700 S. Henderson Rd. Suite 225 King of Prussia PA 19406 or the Cancer Center-824 S. main Street Phoenixville PA 19460. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday in Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, Bridge and Church Streets, Spring City. With the Rev. Caleb Harms officiating.
Visitation will be from 9:00-10:30 AM Wednesday in the funeral home, 135 Bridge Street, Spring City, PA. Burial will be in Valley Forge Memorial Gardens in King of Prussia.
