Shirley Anne (Wisneski) Major, age 81, of Royersford, passed away Monday morning in the Manor Care Nursing Home, Pottstown. Shirley was born in Phoenixville a daughter to the late Thomas and Margaret (Razor) Wisneski. She resided all of her life in Royersford. She was a graduate of Phoenixville High School and was a long time member of the St. James United Church of Christ in Limerick. She was employed by the former Recticon Company of Pottstown and was previously a homemaker. She was also a seamstress, making most of her children's clothing. She was the mother of Linda Alexander wife of the late Anthony "Tony" Alexander, of Royersford and Lawrence W. Major, Jr. husband of Marcy of Georgia. She is also survived by four grandchildren, Chad and Sarah of Royersford, and Daniel and Hayley of Georgia .and three great grandchildren; and sister: Sandra Botdorf; predeceased by grandson: Ian Alexander. And sisters: Lucille Reinhart, Nancy Quarles brothers: Thomas Wisneski, Kenneth and Eugene Koffroth. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service on Saturday at 10:30am at the Good Sheppard Mausoleum in Limerick Garden of Memories. The Rev. Paul H. Neff will officiate. Burial to follow in the Limerick Garden of Memories. Visitation will be in the Mausoleum Saturday from 10am to 10:30am. In lieu of flowers memorial gift may be made in her memory to the American Diabetes Association, One Monument Road, Bala Cynwd, PA 19004.
