George Raul Guss, 75, of Norristown, passed away, May 22, 2014 at The Mercy Suburban Hospital, East Norriton Township, PA. A long time resident of Spring City, he was born in Pottstown to George Guss, and Margaret (Rodenbaugh) Guss. A graduate of Spring Ford High School, George worked in the maintenance department for J. R. Hollingsworth. In addition he was fluent in several languages, and was a veteran of The United States Army. He is survived by his sister, Marsha Fore, wife of Charles Fore of Bland, Virginia, his nephew, Kevin Fore, husband of Katherine, and nephew Brian Fore, husband of Tonja. He is also survived by great niece Amber, and great nephews Adam, Phillip, and Noah. His funeral services and burial will be private. Shalkop Grace & Strunk Funeral Home, 135 Bridge St. Spring City, PA is in charge of the arrangements. Online condolences can be made at www. sgsfuneralhome.com.
